Herman Cain: Trick or Treat?
10/31/11
Spartan
With regard to the allegations of Herman Cain and sexual harassment, there are two areas to be addressed:
1) the legal issues and
2) the political issues
The legal issues are somewhat murky. In a nutshell, sexual harassment is not just proposition and contact. It is also hostile work environment. From what I have read, someone who is accused of being a sexual harasser,...

Hail Hillary! Full of... →
The Wpost writes a paen to Hillary’s great triumph in Libya. The article did not reference this photo from Benghazi, but it does raise the question whether Hillary’s denial of future VP or P ambitions is serious.

Did Gaddafi Shoot Himself? →
Apparently Gaddafi shooting himself and then staging his own brutal murder for all the world to witness is another possibility that should be considered, if one follows some of the brilliant explanations for the mass executions reported in this story.

Classy Act At Foggy Bottom →
Hillary Clinton is the epitome of the ignorance that gets elevated and celebrated as intelligence among the trailer trash elite that now runs Washington, D.C. For those of us who have been around women who have earned their way to the top of their profession by way of brains, hard work, and personal sacrifice, Hillary is the antithesis of what American Feminism should be.
We are now officially a...
Newt Rising?
I think Newt is a the Trojan Horse of the Conservative Movement. On the outside, he appears to be a gift of sensible ideas standing above the infighting. However, inside this ‘horse’ resides the heart of the GOP Establishment.
This is the same Newt who took $300,000 to lobby on behalf of Freddie Mac. This is the same Newt who told NY Conservatives to accept the liberal Scozzafava over the...

A Pox on Fox →
I like the comment about the Fox affair being no different what Soros does around the world. Quite true, but precisely the problem. Conservatives think they are justified to engage in the same subterfuge and illegal transnational activities as Soros. Wrong. When they got power they should have gone after the S.O.B.E. just like Putin did in Russia. Putin and his mates in the Cheka knew exactly what...

Private Sector Defense and Intel Cashing in on... →
This story helps tp explain why so few former intel officials raised a stink about the the stupidity, calumny, and moral degeneracy of the Obama’s Admin decision to intervene in Libya after Libya had worked so closely with the US in our fight against Al Qaeda. Chaos pays, in this life.

“Dr Fox I presume? Where do I wire my contirbution?” reportedly heard often at functions whereever the British Defence Minister could be found while doing his job of looking out for members of the British armed forces.
This is the corruption of the private intelligence and defence industry which is putting at risk the world’s stability. Individuals who serve honorably and nobly...

Keeping Tumblr's Libya's Desk Honest →
It was dissappointing to see most Tumblr blog feeds on Libya, they demonstrated a remarkable mediocrity in situational awareness and analytical ability. My prescription for fellow tumblr bloggers: daily reading of Peter Hitchens.

Perry vs the status quo
10/13/11
Why are the pundits liberal and conservative (presumably) fixated on the person in 3rd/4th place?
It could be because they know Perry can raise a ton of cash (17Million this quarter). They also know that Cain and Bachmann have very little in campaign infrastructure. They are participating because the GOP wants to give the appearance of being inclusive in their ‘dog and pony’...

Concerning Perry, Romney, and Palin
10/13/11
I think Perry is the only candidate left who has a legitimate shot at beating Romney and Obama. The problem is no one has done a real evaluation of Romney.
The chattering class is all agog over Romney’s debate performances but the guy has made deflection and obfuscation an art form. He rarely directly answers a question. He gets away with it because Cain is cut from the same cloth...

Not much of a surprise that the British Defense Minister knows about as much about his close friends and advisors as he did the players in Libya. Airheads of the world unite.

Bachmann and Cain and the 'race'
Just an observation, but what exactly is Bachmann’s and Cain’s role in this race?
Bachmann has not really accomplished much as a legislator. She has embraced the spirit of the Tea Party Movement but she has no cogent/coherent ideas to move the Movement forward except to say ‘NO’. She has lied and demagogued Pawlenty out of the race and she tried to do the same to Perry...
